Real Time Asset Tracking For tracking stationary assets, often a full blown approach as provided by the Go-Live system is more than is required. In these situations, Kerr Global provides a lower cost Asset Tracking system. The GPS unit can be attached to objects like generators and heavy equipment that do not move often or great distances. The unit reports its position once a day at a pre-programmed time for positional data only. As well, if the asset moves, the unit will then report its position 30 seconds after movement stops. The unit also provides the functionality of four report triggers that can be programmed to produce an alert if activated, for example by a door opening.
